Welcome to resilienceoc.org, the website of Resilience Orange County, a inter-generational grassroots organization rooted in Orange County working to build community power through transformative organizing, participatory research, and leadership development. We know that you care how information about you is used and shared. This Privacy Policy explains what information of yours will be collected by Resilience Orange County when you use our website and online services, how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction, and/or deletion of information. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means (including offline) or from other sources.

2. Information We Collect

User-Provided Information:
You provide us information about yourself, such as your name, email address, phone number, and zip code, if you sign up using a form on our site or other Resilience Orange County digital platform. If you correspond with us by email, we may retain the content of your email messages, your email address, and our responses.

Resilience Orange County uses services such as Google, Meta, Action Network, Mobilize, CallHub, and others to manage our website and organize our community of supporters. You can learn more about those companies and their features on their respective websites.

Resilience Orange County may share your information with trusted coalition members and allied organizations for the purpose of community organizing, advocacy, and collective action in Orange County and beyond. We may store personal information in locations outside the direct control of Resilience Orange County (for example, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers).

Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, Resilience Orange County will not disclose personal information to any third party unless required to do so by law or subpoena, or if we believe that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with the law, legal process, or government requests; (b) enforce this Privacy Policy, take precautions against liability, or investigate and defend against third-party claims; (c) protect the integrity and security of our site and services; (d) exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Resilience Orange County staff, our users, or others.
