Youth in Resistance Conference

The 5th Annual Youth in Resistance Conference was an immense success! Orange County students, teachers and parents came together to to hear and learn about our stories, our struggle, and how to build our future together. The conference came together because often times the youth voice is not taken into account and often ignored, but when we come together, we generate and create PEOPLE POWER and together can change things in our community. We believe we have to be rooted in our community and be knowledgeable about the issues that affect us in order to resist, fight for justice and create leadership amongst each other. The purpose of the youth conference is to empower and connect youth to local social movements that organize through art, cultural and popular education.
