UNPRECEDENTED Leadership from Santa Ana City Council

In an unprecedented move the Santa Ana City Council has taken bold steps to address the fears that our community has in this post 2016 election time. UNPRECEDENTED: Santa Ana City Council Woman Michele Martinez, Councilmen Salvador Tinajero, Vincent Sarmiento, Roman Reyna and David Benavides: 1. Call for less dependence on federal funding 2. Expose personal and family threats by the leadership of the S.A. Police Officers Association 3. Expose the SA POA President demanding a promise to fire his own Chief of Police in exchange for endorsement 4. Call for a vote on Ward Elections 5. Call for a vote on ending the contract with ICE immediately 6. Call for an increased investment in youth supports and services 7. Call for a resolution to make Santa Ana a Sanctuary City
